Please don't forget some acts of love for Jeb Bush's neighborhood.

Only in Liberalville are people who object to illegal immigration called bigots. In other circles, they're called people who have respect for the law.

As a former R now I, you realize that hearing this from a R right now is like hearing an illegal immigrant say, "One should follow the law".

In case you don't get what I'm saying, let me spell it out for you - Rs these days are turning a blind eye to the corruption in the WH for the sake of 1. kicking out those people who break our immigration laws 2. controlling women's bodies 3. fear of Muslims.

You're ok with rich white people being corrupt and breaking laws, but not poor brown people.

So, it's kind of hard to listen to you Rs spout the whole "respect our laws" line.

I suspect you were never a republican, merely believing yourself to be one, just as I believed that I was a democrat in college, because I was ignorant of what being a democrat means.

As a republican, I am not okay with anyone breaking laws, including rich white people and poor brown people. If Trump has broken laws, then he can be accused, tried, and convicted. Given how fervently the democrats have been trying exactly this, and how *NOTHING* of real actual illegal activity has been found, I will give anyone not found guilty of a crime the benefit of the doubt.

I suspect you are not that bright given how many Rs despise the R party right now.

I voted for both Bushes. But, thanks for telling me what political leaning I *really* am.

"Brown" latina here. Hello former R! If you really are! Trump has not been convicted of anything yet despite the daily cries of the libs and lib media. Poor brown or rich white I know one group is more likely to hurt me and is mote likely to have a past filled with felonies in their home country! Yes these uninvited people whom corrupt employers hire and abuse are breaking laws. Plenty of brown latinos like me who are legal and not breaking laws.

How many people are Caravanning up North in this round?

Signify with a +1 if you are willing to put a family of 4 up in your house and pay $15k per child per year to MoCo, DCPS Arlington for the children’s public education. I’m sure you can absord all the other costs.

It sounds as though you all are really good religious folks. Lets see a show of +1s Liberals!!!!!

Seems to me the main point wasn't about illegal entry but about denying political asylum. So does Trump want to do away with political asylum entirely? Political asylum for people who speak Spanish? Just asylum for people fleeing Honduras?

The people in this caravan are planning to apply for asylum, which is entirely legal.

If you want respect for law, it would be helpful to not regularly conflate issues involving illegal immigrants with issues involving the number of legal immigrants, the status of asylum seekers, etc. All of whom are different legally. Though they do tend to share the same complexions.

I am not willing to put up a family from appalachia in my house. That does not mean I object to them moving here. Believing someone should be allowed to migrate is not the same as offering them housing. This "put them up in your house" thing is the stupidest right wing meme.

Bushes have never been Democrats, unlike Trump.
