Big Little Lies HBO

2) If this is a public school there should be no parent transportation but buses. Yes, I know transplanted from Australia but still doesn't ring true.

These are dumber complaints than the show's opening scene with each mom driving their kids to school. Which I happen to think is really cool because the scenery is awesome.

I don't know about Monterey in particular, but it's not that common to have school busses in California at public schools with budget cuts, etc. It's typically only required for special education students. Only ~16% of students in CA ride school busses according to this article:

So the whole school drop seems pretty realistic to me.

CA native. No bus where I grew up (im 35). I also hate the name Amabella. Love the opening scene and love, love, love every single song that they've played. Is there a soundtrack?

Also at my public school in DC, sadly parents spend thousands every year. Like upward of $300k at one elementary auction.

Spotify has a Big Little Lies playlist.

That article is bs. There was never going to be a second season and it is doing well inthe us.

Same in Colorado. Busses are available, but we pay $.50 per trip, which with three kids works out to $3.00/day $15/week $90/month. Lots of parents do drop off pick up to avoid the fees.

I don't think it showed anything after her smelling his hair. Maybe they had a boring conversation about bus routes.

Bus route people, start your own thread.

It makes me sadder than a presumably intelligent adult would believe anything like this gossip and click bait. HBO and Reese's and Nicole's production companies promoted the heck out of BLL and all the lead actresses showed up at every single event (because there are pictures). There was also ton of print articles, photo shoots and interviews. Simultaneously, Nicole Kidman and others were promoting the heck out of Lion, which was a smallish budget production, nominated for many awards worldwide (many for Kidman) and there were lots of pictures.

And, Reese and Nicole both call themselves Tennessee girls, neighbors and great friends.

I'm embarrassed that I know all this to be true.

Still cheaper than gas and car wear and tear.
