I was good with there being 1 season. It wrapped up neatly. Plus with Perry dead there's no eye candy other than the PCH.

In the Perry role, I won’t miss Alexander Skarsgard. (Although he teased that we may not have seen the last of him).
I also was fine with the show ending as the book did. But I have to admit the Meryl/Nicole as MIL/DIL has intrigued me.

I came to it late as well - was on a girls’ weekend and all my friends were like “OMG you haven’t watched this”? It’s so good.

BTW that happened again this year but for Bad Sisters on Apple, which is somewhat similar and also very good.

I just finished Season 1! Holy cow it was good! I watched it in 2 days. Sad to read the director died and that’s why the series doesn’t continue after Season 2.

Also, seaon 1 is the book. Kidman went back to the (Australian) author to get her to write a script for season 2. There was no further material after that. And all the awards went for season 1, not so much for season 2. And the cast is really busy - almost impossible to get them for a third season (also covid era).

Ugh they need to let this series die. The first season was based on the book, so fine. But now it’s just flogging a dead horse.
