Usually I don't agree when you guys say someone is too skinny (I am naturally very thin doing nothing) but even I think she looks way too skinny. |
Exactly. She can't be more than 85 pounds, if that. We're the same height, and I once got down to 100 pounds due to a horrible illness. I was significantly larger than her from both the front and the side. I feel terrible for her spouse and child - it must be hard to live with her if she is truly this far gone in her illness. |
I think that its gotten to the point E needs to take her off the air and attempt to "save her." Whether its rehab, or some sort of in house treatment or something! She very clearly needs an intervention. Karen Carptener all over again. |
She clearly is ill-severe anorexia (or her cancer came back and she is wasting away). She desprately needs help either way. Sad really, she looked great 10 years ago, and even then she was pretty thin. |

I agree. They need to take her off. |
Yes, but they took her off for the SAG Awards, had Maria Menounos instead, and it was a disaster. Twitter was on fire with people begging for GR back. So, we'll see what happens. |
TMZ posted something, too. Apparently she tweeted about her pre-Grammy feast?
GIULIANA RANCIC HEAD TURNER AT GRAMMYS The TV host hobnobbed with celebs before the show. Saturday, she tweeted about a pre-Grammy feast, saying, "Tons of sushi and finishing off an entire bread pudding. #dinnerofchampions #whateverittakes." OMG is this photoshopped? It doesn't even look real. I hope she will be OK, truly. |
She looks awful on the red carpet tonight. Her face is so gaunt it's scary. They need to get her off the air until she gets help. |
Shades of Karen Carpenter.
I fear that GR isn't long for this world and I say this as someone who's come out the other side of an ED. She needs inpatient therapy and I think she's at the point where her body (heart, lungs, bones) are so wrecked that she needs intensive interventions (and complete cardio workup) in addition to learning to eat and take care of herself. She's someone's mom now. Come on, GR. |
PP here who said GR isn't long for this world... That dress/pantsuit she's wearing in the photo above? Yeah, it is actually too big for her. Look at her bust and upper back: there's some extra material here. Most alarming is that dress was custom made for her/couture -- it was tailor-made to fit her measurements perhaps as recently as three weeks prior to wear. Likely that dress fit differently and was even tighter on her back and chest...but she lost even more weight in the intervening weeks. Her weight loss and that of most anorexics is most obvious in the chest and back, too. |
Agree |
Look at her face next to the three women on the panel with her on E right now. She literally looks like a corpse. |
To keep GR in perspective, my super fit 15 yo DD runs track and does yoga three days a week; she is 5'5" and weighs 123 lbs and wears a size 00 in jeans. She is muscular, but small.
I'll bet GR weighs about 85 pounds. |
