Where is the outrage about the Israeli starvation of Gaza?

Israel is very smart and tactical. They funded and propped up Hamas and allowed and enabled October 7th to happen so that they could have a pretext to genocide Palestinians in their goal to steal the land. By using October 7 and maximize the number of casualties through their Hannibal order, they've shielded themselves from much of the potential outrage for the past two years

I love the truth in this quote, but 1) it doesn't acknowledge that many people have consistently been against this, and 2) those people have mostly been Democrats.

I point that out because Akkad does the whole 'both sides' bs, whereas in fact this would NEVER have happened under a Harris presidency.

BFD at this point. Really … why should we care? The remaining Israeli hostages are considered, by any modern day standard, to be legitimate targets under the right of Palestinians to resist occupation.

Moreover, Israel is actually the side in this conflict that has a lot of explaining to do because they continue to hold thousands of Palestinians hostage without as much as a charge, in contravention of international law.
