You are saying that you would be ok with your dh cheating on you and having a baby outside your marriage. Notice no one is saying she is a weak flower! But, even strong people can be devastated by betrayal. Until they announce that they have an open marriage it is assumed that it was a traditional marriage in that they both said they would 'forsake all others' and not have children with other men or women.

Well if you wanted to have a civil discourse you would have explained what you meant instead of giving up. Just because Jordyn isn't a trad wife doesn't mean that she can be devastated that her marriage is over. Even if she stays with him there is always a 'before' the betrayal and after.

There’s absolutely no way she didn’t know he was sleeping around. She can’t possibly be that stupid. If they get divorced, it’ll be because whatever understanding was governing their marriage didn’t include a baby with the side chick.

I agree with this. I’m a fan and I read Dave’s book. He is a huge man child and Jordyn has put up with so much over the years.

When I read it in the book there were so many incidents that reminded me of my husband‘s college roommate. But he was a college kid! Who eventually grew up. With Dave it comes off as very goofy and lovable and fun. Which is why so many people are disappointed.

But yeah, I think ultimately after 25 years his wife knows what she is dealing with. I’m sure this is very hurtful and she doesn’t deserve this, but she is probably not all that shocked.

I’ll add that I’m not convinced this is a new baby. There is some speculation that the child is a little bit older, but I could be wrong.

Read a comment that really struck a chord:
Dave dropped this bit of info a few hours before the debate. He knew it would get drowned out of the news by the debate and then he got lucky with TS endorsement sucking up all the oxygen. His kids social media accounts were deactivated within minutes. Comments deactivated on Grohl's and FF's social media pages. And then Dave took down his Instagram account last night.

I was wondering why he'd go public on Tuesday, rather than a Friday afternoon at 4pm (per usual with bad news).
