Eh, I don't think it's about saying open marriages are common or mainstream.  It's about saying that a women married to a drinking rockstar is not a damsel in distress who believes her husband is traveling the world and drinking heavily while remaining faithful to her. It almost feels to me like the people painting her as this devastated, downtrodden woman are calling her stupid.  Like she's some trad wife who sat at home batting her eyelashes while Dave Grohl walked all over her. [/quote]

But, even strong people can be devastated by betrayal.  Until they announce that they have an open marriage it is assumed that it was a traditional marriage in that they both said they would 'forsake all others' and not have children with other men or women.

Well if you wanted to have a civil discourse you would have explained what you meant instead of giving up.    Just because Jordyn isn't a trad wife doesn't mean that she can be devastated that her marriage is over. Even if she stays with him there is always a 'before' the betrayal and after.
