Eh, I don't think it's about saying open marriages are common or mainstream.  It's about saying that a women married to a drinking rockstar is not a damsel in distress who believes her husband is traveling the world and drinking heavily while remaining faithful to her. It almost feels to me like the people painting her as this devastated, downtrodden woman are calling her stupid.  Like she's some trad wife who sat at home batting her eyelashes while Dave Grohl walked all over her. [/quote]

I agree with this. I’m a fan and I read Dave’s book. He is a huge man child and Jordyn has put up with so much over the years.

When I read it in the book there were so many incidents that reminded me of my husband‘s college roommate. But he was a college kid! Who eventually grew up. With Dave it comes off as very goofy and lovable and fun. Which is why so many people are disappointed.

But yeah, I think ultimately after 25 years his wife knows what she is dealing with. I’m sure this is very hurtful and she doesn’t deserve this, but she is probably not all that shocked.

I’ll add that I’m not convinced this is a new baby. There is some speculation that the child is a little bit older, but I could be wrong.
