I'm the PP. I too respect peoples' military service and my dad was a marine as well. But, unlike you, I have an issue with her choosing a photo of herself holding a rifle AS A CIVILIAN as her primary campaign photo. It's frankly bizarre. She can emphasize her military career all she wants in her speeches, written campaign materials, and interviews, but posing with an actual gun is a bridge too far for me. It would be seen as bizarre or extreme in most places on earth, not just here in the US among Dems.

Wrong! At least 90% of parents are NOT equipped to make sensible, knowledgeable, unbiased curriculum decisions. Additionally, public schools by their very design are focused on the best curriculum, plans and processes for the majority.

One ignorant, biased parent burdening a public school with their personal views can easily screw up the education outcomes for many other kids in addition to their own. Parents who think they know better than professional educators can choose private, religious or home schooling. We must get these RWNJs out of the public schools because they are destroying public education for everyone.
