They are probably looking to fill in a few more players. They usually have a third later tryout date and on the boys side are usually looking for a specific missing player to round out their teams. No clue on the girls side.

IME, the rosters on the boys side are not enormous. I have been surprised by how many subs other orgs seem to have. We usually have 3-4 subs at a game and 2 GKs.

Some age groups had 3-4 kids show up. They need the numbers hence the extra tryouts. Not rocket science… they’ve had whole teams leave the club and go somewhere else

Maybe on the girls side. Not true for boys.

Yes. And has been explained to you, thats to
be expected when they are trying to build competitive teams from scratch in multiple age groups on the girls side.

We didn't attend the first two tryouts because we were planning on staying put but now are unhappy with the current situation. Any inisght into whether there are open spots for the 2013 first team and the 2011 second team (for boys)?

I have no idea about rosters because my kids are different ages but I looked at the coaching slate and the black team coach for 2013 boys next year, Andres Miloc, is fantastic.

Definitely this is mostly for the girls side. The club needs to add several players per team

+1. My older son loved playing for him. Calm but a great teacher.

What boys age groups still need players?

The whole 2011 team left for Revolution so it's safe to say that there are going to be open spots!!

I love how people jump from excuse to excuse... first it was "there won't be any extra tryouts" because the coaching and numbers were so great...

Now that there are extra sessions... "ohh we are building from scratch"... why are you building from scratch? Because no one at the club cares for the girls, the whole girls side left last year FOR A REASON!!!

On the boys side, it's becoming the same thing, the coaches are leaving, whole teams are leaving in the younger and older groups.
As of right now, they're picking up kids just to make up the numbers so coaches can get paid.

OK, One Angry Girl Mom Who Posts All The Time.

Please identify which entire boys' teams are leaving?

The girls teams who left to go to AC Milan got burned big time by the AC Milan scam. Didn't one team come back for spring?
