Pre-season friendly games are great. I wish our club did more of them. Even inter age group. The kids are more relaxed and the coaches can try kids out in new positions and see what works without the pressure of a real game.

did anyone hear back from the coach or club on why the pre-ecnl teams were moved to ncsl? i'm just curious.

We don't have a manager.

How did all the other teams acquire one? Do parents just spontaneously reach out and volunteer? We have had no communication to just our team from the coach or anyone else.

The club sent out detailed information to team managers and coaches earlier this week with the instruction for the information to be shared ASAP with the teams. They had some friendlies set up for next Saturday for alot but not all of the teams.

I think the issue is the club is used to relying on managers to communicate and the teams without managers or with new coaches are not getting any of this information and the rest of the teams who are being communicated with have no issues. We have been hearing regularly from our coach and TM for weeks but its the same coach and manager from last year.

It seems like the club admin forgot to find managers for some of the teams because this is crazy late! not to have a manager and some of the posters here definitely don't have managers. Perhaps the club expected new coaches to know to ask for volunteers, but the new coaches are waiting for the club to assign someone?

The club admin is probably wondering why people are complaining on here when they keep sending out all this info to the coaches and team managers.

We have a new team/coach so not an existing person in the job. The coach asked if anyone would be willing to do it in early summer when the new team and roster showed up in playmetrics. Then we have had somewhat frequent communications from coach or manager about camps, free play, when practices start, the friendly game, the ncsl division placement, the first tournament etc.

I would be kind of baffled if our practices were starting in a few days and I had heard nothing from the coach since tryouts! Those were like 5 months ago-early April!

Now if only the uniform would ship.

DS’s is supppsedly arriving today. That actually seems fast for Capelli.

I ordered asap, they sent me a tracking number last week, but when i check the tracking, ups says they don't have the package yet. Kind of wondering where its been for the last week. Do you remember how long it took to get once they sent the tracking info?

There was lag between being notified they had created the label and it being shipped. I think it was about 2 weeks. So hopefully yours ships soon.

It did arrive today but without the ECNL
RL logo on the sleeve. I wonder if that’s a common issue. Either way, I’m just glad he has a uniform to wear.
