| UVA is ranked 24-27 due to a tie. |
| Lol, Columbia climbed from the low of 18 to 12 - all just for pulling out of this useless USNews. Columbia consistently ranks somewhere around #5 in Forbes and WSJ. Something is wrong. |
Don’t forget UF, which I think really shakes DCUM to its core
|
| I think 5 and 12 out of thousands of schools is not a big difference. |
They don’t just excel at STEM. And spending all of that money on a non-STEM degree is even more crazy. |
UVA is ranked at #26. |
|
What are you talking about?
24 < 25 Did you take any math classes in your life?
|
They were tied at 25 last year and tied at 24 this year so they went up, troll. C’mon man do better. |
Except you are in DCUM where parents fret over this nonsense. |
I thought UVA was at 26? |
Then, did you take any English classes in your life?
|
It is at 26. Went from 25 to 26. |
? It’s tied for #24, and they list the ties in alphabetical order. I’m sorry your kid was rejected from UVA and didn’t get that sweet in-state tuition to a top-tier school. |
UVA last year was 25-28 UVA this year is 24-27 There is no significant difference |
All of these bizarre college rankings perpetuate elitism. Taking in additional considerations related to Pell grants, etc, make a minimal difference when you look at the big picture and the consistent top 25-30 schools. Guys, US News has to update these annual lists are to sell its product. Logic has been set aside and we’re all treating this like some crazy sporting event and taking these silly lists way too seriously. Check out resources like the Fiske guide (which, admittedly rates, but doesn’t rank) instead. |
