The fact that a deeply ignorant and racist former football coach from the most backwards state in America can so profoundly impact the readiness of our military to protect our national security is mind-boggling. Alabama is and always will be a shameful embarassement to this country. And the Republican senators that do nothing as their distinguished colleague continues to weaken our military and our country should be ashamed of themselves.
