Let's give it a rest. Heaven forbid someone says something positive on this board. |
too funny! But the 29s are solid. So more like a 30/31/32/33 combo team. |
Hold on wait what is this they no longer have a 25 Carolina team either... |
I think if you are an adult making these comments about kids, you are a loser. I feel bad for you. |
Interesting quote from a year ago… half the 2031s left for BLC and they became 2030 Carolina combo team with 5-6 players today. 2030 Midnight all left because their coach got hostile. Very unprofessional organization that spends more time on this website than player development. |

Lies. Funny how before people before we were writing the coach did not show up, now is hostile. The club is not on the blog, it is parents who do not like to see their coaches being ripped apart. Referred coach is a lacrosse subject matter expert, just go away quietly. |
Sounds like different people had different experiences with said referred coach. "SME" status does not negate her absence or hostility towards children and parents.
|
The said absence was not negating responsibility, HS varsity coaching was always communicated as the priority, and the girls had coaches, it is 5th grade. Did the Clemson women's lacrosse program complain b/c their coach had to be away for breast cancer treatment? Any hostility is manufactured by parents as an excuse; you can't say u only want one coach, then slam that desired coach. Take a step back and look at the big picture and stop trying to ruin the reputation of a mother, coach, and a 2 sport college athlete with incredible/trusted connections in lacrosse. Go away quietly now... |
This may be the most unhinged post in this entire thread (which is saying something!). |
The club has no problem keeping coaches. Stop manufacturing lies. As the PP, I am just saying stop trying down your daughter's 5th-grade grade lacrosse coach. Have fun watching the NCAA lacrosse tourney this weekend. 2 MCE players on the Denver roster, including the starting goalie... |
Who started playing in the spring of her freshman year, was committed by junior fall, and didn't come up through the program, but that is not really the point. The failure to admit and take some accountability for the turmoil in the middle/elementary school years of the program is clearly a concern for many families who have left or expressed frustration. You can be proud of the club's record of college athletes, but do not point to that as a way to distract from some of the issues going on in the ranks or to invalidate people's issues. Having one thing be true -- a history of college players -- does not automatically make it impossible that there are current issues at younger levels. |
No one is invalidating people's concerns, in my experience the club hears concerns, and whether the club thinks it is an issue or makes an adjustment is up to them. What experience do you really have to know if what is happening is turmoil? The experts are not new to the game. Good thing you have options. At this point, no one has to personally attack people and lie. Just go about and have fun. |
NP here - I agree there can be different experiences but I draw an opposite conclusion: I don’t doubt there is turmoil within the elementary and middle school teams but I really resent posters dismissing the girls they don’t know or writing off all the teams. Of course you can share your experience but don’t be dismissive of others for whom MC may be the best option. There can be a lot of growth and change, particularly for these HS girls who, btw, lost at least a year to COVID somewhere along the line. |
Pretty sure an entire team leaving is the very definition of turmoil. |
