The perfect summer dresses

I have a 4yo and a 1yo and I wear shorter dresses in the summer. I try not to like, squat with my knees apart or anything but if I have to bend over to get something and someone see a little more of my thigh, I'm not that concerned. I do have thin legs relative to the rest of my body so they're probably the feature I'm least self-conscious of. I definitely worry more about a low/loose neckline showing off too much boob when I bend down

I wear bike shorts underneath. I find it easier to wrangle kids in a shorter dress than a long one, where I get tangled up getting up and down off the ground.

Same. Plus, if I get called in to play its a heck of a lot easier to move and run in a short dress w/bike shorts than a maxi flopping about.

I just got this dress in navy and really love it. Breezy and drapes nicely. I think I will get a lot of wear out of it. Haven't gotten anything from NY&Co in years, but pleased with this purchase!

It depends on the bra—does show with one, but not others I have. I love the v-neck on this one, which is very flattering to me. Worth deeper armpits!

I wanted to love this (and the price is so good that I bought it in two colors), but the neckline felt really high to me. It seemed much higher in person than in the pictures. I have a shorter neck and a large bust, so maybe it's my body and not the dress. It's really nice quality for the price, so I'm bummed it didn't work for me.
