Representative Jordan has highlighted that the censoring done on behalf of the federal government was done on accounts that posted accurate information but was detrimental to Democrats. Also censored were opinions. Also censored was parody.
So, not only are people who work in DHS biased, but they also lack a sense of humor.

And, so were a lot of career officials at DHS who took it upon themselves to do the censoring. They even censored Trump himself.
And, they were censoring true information and opinions. This evidently happened without the knowledge of Trump.

Much of the censored information was not "disinformation" at all and it wasn't foreign accounts.
Accurate information was censored, opinions were censored, and parody comedy accounts were censored.

How much, exactly? If Gym Jordan came up with three examples while 3000 examples were genuine disinformation I think Jordan is barking up the wrong tree.

Not to mention there have been numerous analyses proving the existence of massive numbers of bot accounts posting and amplifying disinformation. And, its only gotten worse since Musk took over.

Goodness. You folks do not understand how these companies operate. Of course they are not going to REMOVE the tweet. The user would then know they are censoring. Don't get me wrong.... they do that in some cases. But they have other techniques as well. You have heard of "shadow banning?"

It's curious that the three examples are conservatives. There were liberals, journalists and others who got banned from Twitter during the timeframe in question, why doesn't Jordan mention anything about that? And, while staunchly defending the Kremlin's bots, does Jim Jordan also want Twitter to reinstate the banned Al_Qaeda, ISIS and Al-Shabaab accounts as well?
