New information on trip. McKnight went to SC State to get an award. She did not go to recruit.

Source?? Surely she went to recruit and get an award if that's the case. Even if she only got the award, I'm fine with that, too. Not the end of the world.

If she went to get an award she should pay for the trip.

There has been no evidence that this wasn't a legit business trip just innuendo by someone who seems unhinged.

Thanks for sharing the link! I'm glad to read more about how the visit went. And of course it's a legit business trip.

That doesn't tell us anything well aside from the fact the poster is a stalker.

Exactly, the poster is mostly bent out of shape by an AA woman running the show and is looking to find fault with anything she does.

Agree, the person posting these trumped up allegations seems obsessed and unhinged.

So, if the person was white would you have an issue with this travel? Race has nothing to do with it. Her behavior and performance does. Stop giving someone a free pass due to race. Respect is earned. She has not earned it yet.

Posted directly below the link with the details. Tell Monica you deserve a bonus.

So what I went out to lunch once on my last business trip too, that doesn't mean I didn't work. The lengths you'll go to fabricate evidence strains credibility.

This was a coverup, there was not work done.

That doesn't tell us anything well aside from the fact the poster is a stalker.

Or that when people lie, they should be caught? Posting facts is exactly that. If you have your own facts, contribute. If not, well, you seem to be arguing a moot point. If MCPS leadership didn't do anything wrong and isn't corrupt, why do they care what's posted if it's true? Everything they do they should be proud of. But if they hide information (like changing the covid metrics and reporting standards in January and February, then cutting off daily reporting completely March 1st, or spending covid money on non-covid projects), eventually they will be caught.

One of two things happen, either they get smart and stop doing bad behavior, or they don't. As we've seen these past few months, I think the latter is true. This is why I believe all current board members need to be voted out of office. But feel free to throw out all the labels you want to - it effectively proves the point made. You have nothing in defense, and it shows.

Sounds like this award provided an excellent venue for recruiting potential teachers.

Less than 50 undergraduates graduate each year from this program. Of those, given housing costs, how many do you think will move up here after graduation if offered a job? Even if its 2, that doesn't seem to be a good use of her time or MCPS funding. MCPS has recruiters. If she is doing their job, we should fire them and hire more teachers.

What, cannot handle facts or information? If you don't agree, why post? Why don't you find more productive things to do with your time?

There's a culture of fear in central office. No one will admit to looking elsewhere for jobs or being unhappy because they know that could tank their career if they have to stay. She only wants people who are 100% in her corner, regardless of how good they are at their job. A strong leader doesn't need everyone to agree with them all the time and can tolerate respectful dissent and other perspectives.
