How much does MCPS pay for school administrators to travel out of state?

She only wants people who are 100% in her corner, regardless of how good they are at their job. A strong leader doesn't need everyone to agree with them all the time and can tolerate respectful dissent and other perspectives.

+1 leadership in Central Office has turned into a bunch of bullies. Students are not the top priority. Career mobility is the top priority.

What does that have to do with these false and unstantiated allegations of impropriety?

New information on trip. McKnight went to SC State to get an award. She did not go to recruit.

Source?? Surely she went to recruit and get an award if that's the case. Even if she only got the award, I'm fine with that, too. Not the end of the world.

If she went to get an award she should pay for the trip.

There has been no evidence that this wasn't a legit business trip just innuendo by someone who seems unhinged.

"The SC State College of Education, Humanities & Social Sciences presented McKnight with a plaque acknowledging the pride that the school takes in her recent appointment. The Beta Sigma Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. also provided special recognition"

Thanks for sharing the link! I'm glad to read more about how the visit went. And of course it's a legit business trip.

That doesn't tell us anything well aside from the fact the poster is a stalker.

Or that when people lie, they should be caught? Posting facts is exactly that. If you have your own facts, contribute. If not, well, you seem to be arguing a moot point. If MCPS leadership didn't do anything wrong and isn't corrupt, why do they care what's posted if it's true? Everything they do they should be proud of. But if they hide information (like changing the covid metrics and reporting standards in January and February, then cutting off daily reporting completely March 1st, or spending covid money on non-covid projects), eventually they will be caught.

One of two things happen, either they get smart and stop doing bad behavior, or they don't. As we've seen these past few months, I think the latter is true. This is why I believe all current board members need to be voted out of office. But feel free to throw out all the labels you want to - it effectively proves the point made. You have nothing in defense, and it shows.

Give it a rest. Find more productive things to do with your time. such as taking a walk.

That poster is definitely an unhinged McKnight stalker who sees conspriacies everywhere.

Maybe because it's been a long held principal that a Public Official shall not use their office for personal gain?

Here's the Maryland version:
https://dbm.maryland.gov/Documents/TravelManagementServices/Travel_Regulations.pdf

"Official business" means the authorized duties performed by an employee or official of the State in the employee's or officer's defined capacity under the duties and responsibilities prescribed by the employment or office.

The question is whether or not it was an official requirement under McKnight's duties and responsibilities to travel and recruit at ONLY her Alma Mater, where she received personal awards?

Does that help?
