Half shirts to high school!

When I was in school the style was low-rider jeans (with a thong peeking out). High waisted bottoms and crop tops aren’t really that scandalous.

You are just proving the implication about this being jealousy-based by butt-ugly, lard-bearing, intellectually-struggling, fashion/trend challenged losers. If one can't compete in brains or style, attack girls! If you are jealous of a girl beating you at chess, winning an award at the office, or getting into an Ivy, file a clothing complaint. Yes, she dresses more modestly than all of the fat, uncoordinated girls, but she's the one making me jealous!. We need to have stronger consequences for attacking women other than just last one to get a date. If someone files a clothing complaint, it should be her/his picture shown and announced and the whole building of both genders should have to undergo clothing checks in the complainer's name.

Fighting misogyny by insulting women as fat, ugly, and jealous; well that's a new one.

Yikes. You’re quite the hypocrite.

Interesting that it isn't against the dress code. In PGCPS, it is showing the midriff is not allowed per the dress code. Either are jeans that are ripped above the knee or short shorts. I'm not sure about all schools but I know that our MS enforces them.

"System-Wide Dress Code Including School Uniforms

Students attending Prince George’s County Public Schools should dress appropriately and in a way that is consistent with learning being a priority. Pajamas are not appropriate attire for students attending the online campus.

Head Dress
Head dress can be worn indoors for religious or health reasons only.

Shirts and Blouses
Shirts and blouses should be continuous from neckline to waist. The mid-section should never be visible. Tank tops and muscle
shirts are not allowed. Clothing with vulgar language, obscene pictures, weapons, drugs/alcohol or drug paraphernalia and tobacco products are not allowed. Identifiable gang/crew clothing or paraphernalia are not allowed. Sheer clothing is not allowed.

Skirts, Dresses and Shorts
Skirts, dresses, and shorts are no shorter than students’ fingertips when arms are hanging straight down at their sides.

Pants
Pants should be worn and secured at the waist. Pants should not be worn below the waist exposing undergarments.
Tights, stretch pants, leggings and spandex body suits must be worn with clothing long enough to cover the buttocks.

Shoes:
Shoes must be worn"

I would t want the guys showing off their six packs at school either.

There are a lot of things middle & high schoolers do that I don’t like, but it’s generally considered their right…pink hair, nose piercings, fishnet stockings… cropped shirts are no exception.

🤮 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Why the vomit emojis? You do realize every generation of teens has their trends and kids have a right to express their individuality?? Some girls wear cropped tops, some don’t. If we want all our kids to look the same, we send them to schools with uniforms. In the meantime, I say they should have fun with fashion. It’s one of the few ways they can express individuality and choice in this controlling society they live in.

Fine for walking in the neighborhood, getting coffee, the mall, but school? No.

Many just wear a sports bra. Not even bralette.

Put a shirt on!

Most public school systems are just happy to have people show up. They do not enforce any dress code

I have sports bras that are basically tank tops.

Meanwhile, I want my kids' teachers to focus on teaching, not on what girls may or may not be wearing in class.

+1

And all of the above is less scandalous than the miniskirts my mom wore in the early 70s.

. This poster said nothing about women and even used his. I believe men are statistically more likely to be overweight in the US, and equally likely to be ugly or jealous.

And the late 90s/early 2000s when you couldn't purchase a woman's shirt that went below the navel.

These are not tanks. So maybe try parenting a bit.
