| Teach you’re daughter to say with a sarcastic tone, “Gee, Larla, you’re kind of an asshole.” If she says it and the mean kid tells her parents, just respond “she was kidding? Can’t Larla take a joke?!” |
| ^your, sorry, tired |
Good for you that you don’t. Extra moral high ground bonus points if you’ve sincerely watched your kid get picked on repeatedly and suffer and never had an unkind thought. You win. Also some humans are ugly. Even kids. Get real. |
Pot. Kettle. Black. OP, the difference between you and a 6 year old is that you are an adult, and you know better. |
Oh stop. We've all got the mama bear instinct when someone messes with our kid. OP, don't feel sorry for your feelings and don't feel bad about posting to an anonymous message board. You are not saying these things out loud BECAUSE you are an adult and know better. Previous poster is ridiculous for comparing. |

Girl. Please. Try. It. Elsewhere. |
Yup. But they should know the paperwork for her canonization has been sent to Rome. |
| Op, you can be annoyed and aghast at the girl's parents, but there kid is a kid. Kids are little sponges and they try out different personalities. Is her behavior horrendous? Sounds like yes, it can be. Is she a horrendous person? I'd say probably not. She's a child. She still has plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Take the high road. |
| It’s not the mama bear instinct that’s weird, or thinking a kid is a behavioral nightmare or mean, it’s the maintaining outside of the heat of the moment that she hates a little child and the she’s certain the “dead eyed” girl will remain a b1tch for life. Apparently there are lots of you who think like that but there are many of us who don’t! |
There are many that have experienced this phenomenon, of a more able-bodied kid mocking a SN, who seem to feel as I do. I’m good with that. |
+1. And honestly the sympathy I felt for OP at the start of the thread has begun to wane after reading her subsequent responses. |
I’m sure that will serve you well in life. |
I think it will, and has. I emailed the school to request they not be in the same class based on the thread, and got some posts from some BTDT moms in support. And I got to really spill. Not a bad result. |
