The point of the thread is we all have these thoughts and feelings. It’s fine. Our kids are hurting and we have some bad thoughts. You didn’t say it out loud to anyone!

I don’t think everyone does have these thoughts. If I did I hope I would see them for what they are-unrealistic vilification and catstrophixibg of a little girl, albeit a bratty one. Op is writing as though she believes she is right that this is an irredeemably bad (and ugly!) child who has behaved monstrously. That’s…a bit much.

Op, you can be annoyed and aghast at the girl's parents, but there kid is a kid. Kids are little sponges and they try out different personalities. Is her behavior horrendous? Sounds like yes, it can be. Is she a horrendous person? I'd say probably not. She's a child. She still has plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Take the high road.

There are many that have experienced this phenomenon, of a more able-bodied kid mocking a SN, who seem to feel as I do. I’m good with that.

I think it will, and has. I emailed the school to request they not be in the same class based on the thread, and got some posts from some BTDT moms in support. And I got to really spill. Not a bad result.
