If someone was banned, he must have done something pretty bad.

Nope. She is completely biased and friends with the ventilation lady.

And I disagree with a poster up thread that there are only 3 teachers on AEM. There have been several posts in the past few days that are all about teacher issues. In fact, so many that I think it's becoming more of a teacher group? I though they had a private group of their own.

Who cares if she’s friends with ventilation lady? She doesn’t pile on to those toxic debates and seems to be supportive of schools opening.

The moderator does a good job; she walks the line carefully and is responsive to criticism.

There are FAR more than 3 teachers on AEM; most of them do not out themselves as teachers.

Yep, I know at least 8 personally. They usually post with their mom hats on.

I never reveal my affiliation with APS. I do note names, though.

The best was the teacher that claimed covid killed his teacher friend but she died before covid....

That was actually a counselor at the school who claimed that.

1. A significant amount of personal anxiety about COVID. So it is easy for them to believe that it is 'not safe.' But they don't want to admit their own personal anxiety, so thus it must be 'not safe for anyone.'
2. Either 100% stay-at-home mothers or mom's that have some sort of self business that can be easily scaled down during a pandemic, and may be pretty much ended by the pandemic anyway.
3. generally older children, e.g. middle school and up, or late elementary. Some of them are doing well in DL, some of them aren't- but it is not the agony of early elementary.

The number 2 people are insecure and trying to justify their existence to themselves more than anybody else. I'm so tired of the stupid, a-scientific, artist as air quality expert clogging AEM so i stoped going there for info.

we should have been back in the fall, all of this paranoia wouldn't have had the chance to snowball and create a ridiculous following.

They should have a tracker how many times a day that lady posts about air filters and outdoor lunch. It's as if that will stop covid and solve all the problems.

APS is going to have a DL option next year. I suspect it will be an all-county virtual program because there won’t be enough demand at each local school. It will also prob be an elect in and can only move to in-person if there is available space. As so many of the AEM-ers love to say: if you don’t like it, go private or elsewhere. APS is a public school and the brick and mortar neighborhood schools need to focus on in-person instruction.

I’ll take facts and science over the teacher haters.

Sure, but she's light years ahead of the teacher haters and science deniers.

You might want to work on your reading comprehension. Vaccines are part of the message and are ALREADY being rolled out.

We still have issues with ventilation. Once those are resolved no need to push the issue further. Get it?
