Call me stupid then. All you want. I am only voting for a candidate that supports forcing fully open in person 5 day a week school.

Yeah we are dumb - that’s why we need schools open!! Educate us

Right. Vote for the party that is responsible for this mess in the first place. Are you crazy?

+1

Total DB.

“We had a bill to cap tuition at $2,500 per semester until college students got face to face learning again.”

He wants to cap tuition? WTH? It costs more to open colleges. Kinda self-defeating.

“Today we #MarchForLife to not only celebrate life, but to serve as a reminder that all life is sacred— especially the unborn. “

“ If there was ever a poster child for why our 2nd Amendment right is sacred, it was the lawlessness of 2020.
I won’t allow radical liberals to strip us of our inalienable rights. When you give up even an inch, they take a mile.”

Typical GOP trash.

Just scroll through his Twitter feed. He tells you who he is - standard Trump-loving Republican.

Trying to fearmonger votes - standard GOP playbook. In the end, he DGAF about schools (he's already ready to cut funding). He just wants to advance GOP goals.

Actually, in this part of the country, democrats are responsible for not following science and letting teachers unions hold our children hostage. It’s like we’ve totally lost our minds.

Agree. Extremists on both sides are not listening to science.

That's not what's happening FFS.

I desperately want my girls back in school. I'm an active member of my local #Open movement.

But it's waaaaaayyy more important to me that some old white guy can't tell my girls what they can, and can't do with their bodies.

So nope.

Exactly. Let’s open schools without selling our souls or our children’s future, please.

I’m all for that. Who is my candidate?

I only know of Republicans for it. Maybe Kirk Cox?

Talk about staking out a safe position.

No Republicans ever. They are bad for society.

Many voters are selfish and have no memory. They will forgive a republican who looks like their neighbor and who went to William and Mary.

I'm an equal opportunity voter - no matter what the person looks like - or their party - if they will open schools full time - they have my vote. That's unusual for me but I think the backbone of our society is public education.

Moms vote for their kids interests. I wish Dems got that. Unions are not looking out for kids.

No, I’m sending my kids to private school next year - can’t wait for the Governor to save me, but I am voting to open schools because I care about society.

Oh and I’m not convinced a D Gov candidate won’t say they’ll open schools. You’re the one who thinks open schools is republic apparently. I think it is bipartisan.

This. I hope the Dem candidate stakes out this position. If they choose unions over kids, well, that’s a big problem for me. PP may never vote for anti-abortion and the criticizes people who never vote pro-teachers union.

I hope the D party is listening. I think they just might be.

He CAN'T open schools full time. He's just saying he wants to--an extremely popular position that he knows will get people to vote for him, even though it requires no actual work on his part as a candidate. Please think harder about what kind of governor he would actually be if elected.

I said I want to hear from all of them what they’ll do. I’m not automatically voting for this guy but this is my # issue to consider for the upcoming election. I would prefer a D gets it done but I am not against voting R if I have to.
