How soon is too soon to mow the lawn, on a quarantine Sunday?

I see most of my neighbors out by 8:30. And the ones with little kids I know are up!

Still, 9:00 at earliest.

Everyone on my street has a dog that needs walking. 9 is really fine.

What a nightmare!

I would not before 10 on Sunday. Yesterday was warm and dry, you should have mowed then (like my entire block did, some starting at 830).

We’ll never move to suburbia then! It is kid/dog central. We love it.

8am is definitely fine, but 9 if you feel extra considerate. 10am is absurdly late.

Am I missing something? How in the world can anyone mow before, like, noon? My lawn is soaked with dew at 9 am. (Unless you live outside the DMV, somewhere with low humidity?)

This. Please be considerate and mow at least after 11 am. Don’t you think people might to have a cup of coffee and eat outside on a nice weekend morning?

10 at the earliest. 11 would be better.

Better nicer mowers can mow damp grass. And lawn services can for sure but they don’t work on weekends.

In July it won’t be like that.

On my street, afternoon mowing would mess up the kids taking naps.

There is no good time really, so any time after 9 is fine.

10am on Sunday. I am up at 7 but want to enjoy a little peace and quiet on my Zoom-free day.

It is Sunday morning. I was the first person up in my house at 9:15. I don't hear any lawn mowers. (Everyone did it yesterday when there was no rain).

Local ordinances say 9am.

Always stay within the law, OP.

OMG. You can’t be serious. Nobody cares about your toddlers nap. Get a sound machine.
