This. I stocked up the last week in February and haven't shopped since. I've done my part to socially distance. Now I need to go to the store. Cat must have food, and I've gone through the 30+ cans I bought earlier. |
I'm getting constipated just reading your post. Why am I picturing a cat lady right noe? |

By the rise of hand who like never would have a fresh garlic, and onion and the salad and he olive oil at hand. This is basics. If you know you like the paste you would also have our pepper at hand. if not this is all you really need. |
I’m in CA. I think we’ve been eating pretty well while also trying to avoid the store. We go about every 10 days (less if we can help it) but have neighbors who we’re somewhat staggered with so we pick up things for them and vice versa.
Another neighbor had to close her olive oil shop so I just bought some directly that she delivered to our porch. I’m doing a lot of fruit I can freeze / put in baked goods, a lot of longer lasting counter fruits and veggies (apples, clementines, onions, garlic etc) My husband shopped a few days ago so yesterday I roasted a chicken and we’ll make stock and yesterday he made a beef stew we ate tonight. I have a chickpea and carrot tagine recipe I love and the canned chick peas, onions, and carrots are all fairly long-lasting. My children have been enjoying popcorn movie nights so I’m glad we have a big jar of kernels. We’ve been trying to social distance as best we can since late Feb (started working from home then) but kids were still going to school. Until this week I was still letting them bike or so sidewalk chalk at public parks and then we switched to neighborhood walks. My older daughter (7) has developed a bad cough and headache and is really congested and I’m congested with some wheezing so we’re fully isolating now. I assume given symptoms (sinus pressure, no temps) that it’s not covid, but who knows. |
You've been notified -- now look it up yourself. It was a press conference. Washington DC is a new hotspot. You're be smart to stay home now. |
Guys I have to go to that grocery store this week
I’ve ran out of my supply I bought on 3/13 Plus baby needs milk |
This is like a bad movie where people don't believe the tsunami is coming when the audience can all see it over the idiot's shoulder. Stockpiling is so that if you need to stay indoors, you have the supplies you need to do so. That time has come. Stay inside. Are we pretending “grocery order” isn’t the exact same thing as “grocery run” now? Grocery deliveries remain FINE. |
I found bugs in my 20 lb bag of King Arthur flour. Sifted them out and it’s fine. |
I'm really craving ice cream cake suddenly. |
