Does the answer differ if this person is a man or woman?

I was pretty proud of myself

Are you a man or a woman? If woman, it's not exactly a hard thing to accomplish...

Not hard for either gender at that age from iM seeing these days.

Harder for men.

Can the person sexually satisfy a long term partner? I say this because in my experience, men who’ve had many partners but no long term ones don’t know how to keep the sex good and interesting over a long period of time. And that matters.

Most people have had a mix. Some short term casual encounters. Some long term partnerships. To me, that’s normal.

They're just bored of the same vajayjay.

Right. Because they’ve never made it work in a long term relationship. Women feel the same way. The same penis for 20 years isn’t particularly interesting. It takes effort and creativity to keep it good. Many casual and no/few LTR often points to a lazy partner. Buyer beware.

Or self delusion. Much of the excitement comes from variety. You can only approximate that so much with toys, whips, positions and whatever else you convince yourself is interesting.

Variety is the lazy person’s way out. That’s my whole point.

Keep telling yourself what you have to. There is not substitute for strange.

Silly old me here is thinking that letting a different man stick his d*ck in me every three months is a bit gross. I don't even change my toothbrush that often.

Gross. Oral hygiene is really important. You should change your toothbrush every three months.

I’d think they have learned some fun things. Come sit next to me.

I place no judgement on make/female numbers. I would hope they neither exploited/were exploited through sex, and it was all good healthy fun.

My number was 2 when I got married and then 30 within two months of divorce. It’s easier to have sex with pretty women than I realized.

I would see them as experienced. And I would agree OP's number in the initial post is much too low

Way too many for me as it indicates that the person has not been capable of having a LTR.

Tinder. The amount of 40 something women on Tinder literally gagging for c*ck is off the charts. I could get laid in the next three hours if I felt like it. Of course it would be with a pudgy, cellulite covered mom, but still.

Details matter....my number was about 25 at 34. But, I was in an LTR relationship from 25 to 32. At the end of the relationship my number was 4. in the six months after I broke up with her, my number increased by 20...I had a good time...Then I met my wife. It has been 25 for the last 21 years.

+1. Such a high number, especially for a man, may make me question his ability to be in a LTR. It would raise a question whether he needs variety/excitement more than wanting to stay in LTR.

same for a woman, not gender specific/exclusive
