Because if it turns out there's no evidence to support collusion, that makes all the rest of Trump's behavior just fine, and perfectly legal?

Some trees called, they have a forest they'd like you to see.

Well, with that logic, I propose that every president be subject to special counsel investigation for the duration of their time in office. Because just because they haven't found any evidence yet that they've done anything illegal, doesn't mean the rest of their behavior is just fine and perfectly legal.

I want to point out the important point that Trump has yet to be found doing *ANYTHING* illegal. Even the potential campaign finance violation is just that - potential.

I think Rand Paul is being blackmailed.

What do you think he's being blackmailed about?

Because he is doing something the left doesn't like, and since the left likes him - he is one of those rare "principled" republicans - therefore there must be some extenuating circumstance that explains his behavior.

I am the PP you are responding to - and look, Rand Paul is acting really really weird. There's something going on with him. I'm just curious what the PP I was responding to thinks he's being blackmailed about. There is CLEARLY something going on that is making him act so strangely, I just have no idea what.

Rand and his father have taken millions in Russian money for their institute. He isn't being blackmailed, he is on the take.

What millions have the democrats wasted on what?

The GOP is in control of the House, the Senate and the Executive. So the GOP holds ALL of the purse strings right now. So please tell me how the democrats are wasting money on this.

Additionally, with the asset recovery, the Mueller investigation is actually in the black by tens of millions of dollars.

Now about wasting money, how much did Bengazi cost again? And how much has Trump's golf cost?

Actually Trump has been specifically labelled an unindicted co-conspirator in one document and in another, he is specifically mentioned and alleged as committing felonies. And we haven't even gotten to treason yet, we are just on the pre-election activities.

Cheaper than White Water but this has had indictments! It also implicated the President with campaign finance violations and “synergy with the Russians.

True! Forgot about all the money. Republicans are just whiners and criminals... the most annoying of combinations!

Orrin Hatch on Bill Clinton lying under oath about having sex with Monica Lewinsky: “Perjury and obstruct justice ... rise to the level of high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Huh? Cohen admitted to the violation, so that's an actual crime, not a potential one. The sentencing memo says flatly that Trump told him to do it. That means prosecutors have concluded Trump was a conspirator. He just hasn't been charged. If he were not the President, he probably would have been indicted already
