It was an abuse of a marriage nothing else. |
Sorry, I'm a liberal and it makes me sick that people on the left excuse Clinton's behavior. Legal, willing adult or not, this was a total abuse of power on Clinton's part. That said, it's not Hillary's job to answer for him. But she should be on the hook for her own choices at the time, which included plans to trash the women who came forward about Bill. |
The Hillary hard-on train continues...what is it exactly that turns you on so much about her?
Is that you Bart? Shouldn't you be planning out your next month's calendar spread? They've set aside some sparkle glue and stickers for you in the supply room. |
It was a consensual relational between two adults. Many things wrong about the situation (particularly perjury), but it at the end of the day that’s what it was.

+1. Me too! HRC's talk about womens' votes being directed by not wanted to cancel their husband's votes just sounds really bad when she's so wedded to both Bill's policies and his past bad behavior. A lot of us think women deserve better than HRC and that continuing to defend her a losing issue. Time to admit that the Clinton's were rotten. If the GOP can reject the Bushes... |
Agree with pp about Hillary’s choices and I think it is a key point. I was in my late 20’s/early 30’s during the Clinton presidency and was waiting for the big moment after he stepped down when Hillary would kick him to the curb and be the shining image of a strong, capable woman who didn’t need a man (let alone one who so dispicably and publicly spit on the marriage and union) to be successful...and kept waiting...and waiting...
I am greatly disappointed by Hillary’s choice at that time. It demonstrated to other women that in fact she didn’t feel capable of succeeding with out a man and even worse, you may have to put up with humiliating treatment from men to get ahead. Or, make a pact that includes personal humiliation. No thank you. I think she could have succeeded as a single woman rather than live in a humiliating marriage. She didn’t make that choice though. That she is somehow thought of as a leader of women is mind-boggling. Maybe because I was old enough to remember that time... Both Hillary and Monica made choices that ultimately led them to powerless, humiliating circumstances. The only person in this situation who has gotten everything he wanted and continues to flourish in a continual glass-raised-wink-woo-hoo party is Bill Clinton. |
Except if the boss is a democrat. Then it is okay. Remember they are the party of the double standard. |
Your liberal closed mind is showing. Your rant doesn't even make sense. |
The democratic party is the party of "it's everyone else's fault, but mine." And Hillary gives the perfect example. No matter what, DON"T BALME BILL! ![]() ![]() (Hillary) |
I don't think you watched the video. |
Liberal here. I feel angry at Bill and Hilary for minimizing the Lewinsky scandal. Bill's recent comments during his book tour were defiant. I think he should apologize to all of us for tarnishing his reputation and his Presidency. Regardless of how old Lewinsky was.
I feel like Bill opened the door to so much bad behavior. Now anything goes and if you try to complain about porn star payoffs, for example, all you hear is "what about what about what about" Bill Clinton. I think Bill and Hilary need to go away. They are not helping. |
Yes, Mrs. Clinton, a US President having sex with a 20 year old intern was absolutely an abuse of power....and if Monica Lewenski hadn’t been able to prove that she was “with” the most powerful man in the world, she would have been destroyed by you like you did with all the previous women who had an encounter with your husband. Mrs. Clinton’s attitude is exactly what set women’s issues back 20 years at the time and paved the road for the equality problems we see today. |

Makes me glad that I did not vote for her - she is just awful.
BTW, I did not vote for Trump either. |
Hillary Clinton and fellow democrats DID destroy her life. Fortunately for her she has found a way to take the situation to help others and advocate for change. https://www.ted.com/talks/monica_lewinsky_the_price_of_shame?language=en From tens of million women, SHAME on YOU, HILLARY! ![]() ![]() |
