^^^His professional reputation is obviously undisputed-however, several 05 players left after last year for a reason, mostly citing communication breakdowns, particularly with parents. YMMV...

Not sure what you think you heard, but it is typical for most of the ECNL teams not to take more than a small handful from the White team (B team). The vast majority of players that move on to ECNL come from the Green team (A team). At the 06 level, 12 of the original Green players stayed, which is the usual number. They only have 6 more roster spaces from there, 1 of which went to a White team player. The other 5 were recruits from outside or playups from 07. The majority of the original White team went elsewhere, which was the only unusual thing, as many got recruited to DA or Arlington Red, as they happened to have many strong White team players from that age group. But, nothing sinister happened-at most, only 3-4 White team players usually move on to ECNL in any given year.

I'm not the one spreading stories. Only ONE of the 06 White players actually made the ECNL team. There is no guarantee that any of the other White players who didn't try out would have been offered a spot.

There is a member of the 06 White team on the Arlington U13 DA team. I don't think she cares if she got an offer from Mclean ECNL.

that’s not a good follow-up as to how he is the best coach. That’s a recruiting and evaluation of talent spotting.

Please provide some more specifics as to how he’s different now that McLean isnt one of two of the only ECNL clubs in town?

There is a member of the 06 White team on the Arlington U13 DA team. I don't think she cares if she got an offer from Mclean ECNL.

A member of the 06 Green team last year scored the winning goal for Arlington U13 DA in their last game. I think she would have gotten an ECNL offer!

the coach you are all talking about is the worst in mclean, well known fact everywhere.coaching little girls now.

girls bailed early, chose to drop down a team, left soccer, were blackballed down a team, or left as soon as they could after u12 for spirit /arlington and didn't try out for ecnl.he controlled the ecnl tryout.that's why the u13 team sucks.
of course, in mclean they keep coaches like that.

There are also girls on the ECNL team that went to the Arlington ID sessions and were not offered spots and so they stayed with ECNL. Not sure they would have made the same decision if they recieved offers from Arlington DA.

I hear great things about Clyde but aren't the older teams also coached by strong staff. If you coached and developed the ECNL and VA Gatorade player of the year and a separate YNT player, you must be doing something right. MYS has several older teams that are nationally ranked.

There are also McLean ECNL girls that were offered a spot on WS VA's DA and said no. Some people want to make it sound like the DA is taking over. Not by a long shot. If all things are equal, McLean still has a major footprint on youth soccer.

I knew some players on that 05 team that left for WS VA. The issue was mostly logistics and team culture.
