I love to just go around and naturally explore different cities and neighbhorhoods- eat at the tiny local spots, find what's unique about that place, chat with the locals. It's not like, 100% unique or anything but most people I know go to places with a destination or activity in mind whereas I just like to meander and pop in here and there to what looks cool.

Same. I love traveling without a plan.

Most people I know have specific plans of what they're doing on specific days when they go somewhere. I just want to see a place, explore it, walk around, and not follow an agenda. Having a detailed itinerary sounds like a hell trip to me.

I love books (classics especially) and trying to solve the mysteries of true life crimes. I enjoy visiting historical sites and I also love listening to Orchestra music (I really don't like the music played by marching bands - it sounds like blaring noise to my ears. But symphony music is so pretty...)

I also enjoy scented candles, soaps, perfumes which I know that some people DESPISE so I don't really talk about it.

Litigator whose #1 interest in recent years has become the market and specifically oil prices. I invest in it myself but it's not about the money (i.e. I'm not trying to talk about how much money can be made or lost) -- sometimes you just want to talk about the latest supply shock wherever or OPEC's latest move. As you'd imagine the lawyers around me 100% could care less -- most don't even want to think numbers ever. It's gotten a little lonely -- was living in NYC until moving here 2 years ago and while not specifically oil, I feel like people were always around to talk market with if you wanted to (not at work but just generally).

You mistaken about lawyers not wanting to talk about market. Most lawyers I know invest heavily and we discuss it sometimes daily. Just find your crowd.

I like that too. There are so many to explore on the East coast.
