Am I too fat for spinning :(

Good for you! If you can alternate some other activity (walking, swimming, weights, rowing) with peloton you may reduce soreness and be less likely to have an injury.

My tip for eating out is to order whatever appetizer I want and then a salad with no dressing and skip the entree. Another option is to order the entree you want (with a healthier appetizer like a salad, or no appetizer) and then commit to only eating half of it (ask for a box when the food is delivered). I then eat the other half for another meal. I don't think of it as depriving myself but instead of getting to enjoy the food twice. With a business dinner I realize this can be harder to do.

OP, when I started spinning classes years ago I was SO SORE from the seat. I bought a gel cover for the seat--they slip over a normal bike seat--plus I wore padded bike shorts. that will help and as your legs get stronger and you lose weight, using them more will hurt.

But its also normal to be extremely sore after trying a new form of exercise. hell, I have been working out for years and am not overweight, but I took a new classes yesterday and am nearly hobbling today from using muscles I never knew I had.

Are you using the Peloton app with your new bike? If you are try their low impact rides until you get more comfortable. You don’t get out of the saddle but it is still a great workout. Good luck!!

Yes, that is the app I am using. I did the beginner one yesterday but the music wasn’t as fun! Will try again tomorrow and see how it goes!
