Which posters annoy you on DCUM? What do you think they look like?

I agree. I just picture them as bitter with frown wrinkles and a boring wardrobe. And always yelling at people, and never happy about anything.

And the skeevy factor only goes up in the 50+ forum. And I'm 50+.

Folks who see Russian trolls everywhere. It's tiring. I think they're college students. Not the popular ones, phugly ones LOL

I’m a YMMV poster (but I don’t think I’m the only one). It’s common shorthand on a board I’m on for academics, basically meaning “my opinion, for what it’s worth.” Also SPADFY, which means “your ego not the only snowflake in this blizzard.”

I’m a late 30s academic chasing a toddler, with the Birkenstock and LL Bean look you might expect.

Haha, that was supposed to be *you’re not, but I kind of like the “your ego” autocorrect.

No no no. They say "my kid got at 35 ACT; should I have him retake". Then after 8 pages you learn the kid got time and a half or double time due to ADHD but she didn't disclose that in the opening.

You should be on the damn clock working your azz off if you really do make that much.

I picture someone really, really bored trying to make their day sound interesting,

Not sure who would think that posing as a lawyer would make them seem interesting.

Parents who are glad/relieved every time school is cancelled for even remotely bad weather: slightly pudgy, women all have “speak to the manager” hair, super into Disney and take all their vacations there, house is decorated floor to ceiling with decorative crosses and “live laugh love” signs.

I like how you have disdain for "YMMV" but then use "IRL." I detest both phrases.

"Popular?" How old are you?

Anonymous wrote:The "not giving your husband sex? that means your marriage is open!" poster. I picture an average looking white male, mousy hair, medium build/slightly paunchy, not too tall or too short... the kind no one ever looks at or thinks about twice. I bet he appears as a nice guy to those around him, but inside he is seething with rage at his mediocrity and takes it out on everyone in his life.

you are right. his DW should never give him her body again. how dare he expect that!

MUSLIMA poster. She left now. But used to post about how nice Islam is to women. Yet her grandfather had 4 wives

They're in law. Not just any law, Big Law. And they have the Big Paycheck to go along with their Big Job.
