Which posters annoy you on DCUM? What do you think they look like?

The best part of that thread is how no one called OP out on how ridiculous that question is.

Feel free to share your reasoning. I'm paying attention.

If you’re the OP of that thread, yes, I suggest you pay lots of attention if reasoning is involved.

Oh, and all the folks who make super racist comments and then say "I'm not white, by the way."

Those folks are definitely trying to pass off a slight olive skin tone as having a Cherokee princess great-grandma or some nonsense.

The parents who ask how you know if a 1 year old is gifted.

I am, and I'm confused by your last comment.

It's an off topic forum, and I was at the grocery store this morning thinking what a waste it was to bring 3 canvas bags and use 10 plastic ones. I wondered if anyone successfully grocery shopped using no plastic bags, and how they did it.

I'm genuinely curious why you find it ridiculous to post this in an off-topic message board.

Not sure about "super racist" comments but minorities ARE allowed to have our own opinions that don't lean to the far left. Maybe you should reign in your condescending assumptions.

But why do you need to bring looks into it? How does that matter? All that does is give pp's a place to make fun of people - whether it be someone who is overweight, or paunchy or middle-aged or what have you. Why does any of that matter? And I note that most of the people who are envisioning their annoying posters imagine them as overweight as though the two go together. I'm not overweight, btw, but I can't stand the overemphasis on weight in real life or online.

+1. Shameful

But when the Men’s Rights guys ask a woman if she “got fat” as an excuse for her DH’s cheating, it seems so appropriate to picture them this way.

The Angry Atheists in the Religion forum. I’m liberal as heck, but I have to concede there’s a certain type of angry liberal who dressed in unstylish cargos, worn button-down shirts, cropped grey hair, and always has a mean expression on his/her face. That’s what I picture.

I always picture the Jew-who-hates-Christians in the Religion forum as having thin, mousy-brown hair to her shoulders, and she’s obese and wearing a long skirt with wide diagonal stripes. Seriously, every time she shows up to spew bigotry, that sad person is who I see on my mind.

I'm the PP who posted the link, and I question how that could possibly be a topic worth even the 30 seconds it probably took to draft and post to the Internet.

1. The ones who derail the actual point of a thread. An OP will post a question asking about salad and mention their 3 yr old ate a carrot out of the bowl and the entire thread will get derailed giving discipline tips that weren't asked for about how to make the child stop stealing carrots. But all the OP wanted to know was if anyone had any suggestions about salad dressing or something. FOCUS, people!

2. In addition to being annoyed by the people who want to find the best of everything, I'm irrationally enraged (yet also feel sorry for) the posters who are asking what's in style. Just do your nails whatever color makes you happy. Why do you care so much what random strangers think of your shoes/jacket/spatula? Make YOURSELF happy.

Conservative women posters:

Skeletally skinny with unattractive pointy butts and straw-textured dyed blond hair

Or

Overweight middle-aged women who still wear jackets and pearls to work, dyed brown shoulder-length hair

They can't, they read a lot of DCUM and realize what a pack of judgmental c@nts most women are.

On a similar note, I HATEHATEHATE the people who post "how do I entertain my 9 month old on my 1 hour flight?" FFS, there are hundreds of these threads already, and it's really not.that.damn.hard.

I feel for my mother who had to endure 24 hrs of flights three times a year back in the early and late 70s. One movie. No electronics yet. People smoked on planes. We flew standby because my father was a pilot, so maybe we were in first class, maybe we were split up in the middle in row 298. I can't even imagine.

Sounds pretty misogynistic of you liberal hypocrites to be talking about women's weight, race, appearance.

Don't let me stop you though.

What do these mean? I googled and didn't find anything

It took a while, but I found one reference. Not sure if this is what the above poster meant but I found "some people are different from you" so the other would be "I'm also different from you", I guess.

Thanks!

C’mon, when you shriek like this and talk about peoples’ meds, you pretty much deserve what you get. Triggered much?
