I choose DHES over Whittier thinking I would still have a chance. Trust me I have kicked myself for not adding Whittier it was a last minute impulsive update. I like the commute to DHES and the hours.

Bethune has a separate lottery so I thought it could not hurt.

WTF? I don't think it's too late at all. DD is bright, ahead in reading, and loved DPR Spanish camp. It will be an adjustment but I'm sure she can handle it. And it's worth it for DCI access.
