| How sad. His poor family. |
| This is tragic. I am so sad for him and his family. |
There hasn't even been time for an autopsy yet. You're spreading rumors. Stop posting just to pretend you have some stake in this sad case. Whatever was "involved," this poor kid's family will be devastated. |
I live very close to them. I’m not on the email listserv. Wish the whole neighborhood went out looking for him. So sad |
Probably the case though. According to his friends he was walking with a group by the pool, which closed obviously. They said then they couldn't find him. Teenagers don't lose track of each other like this unless they're under the influence. He probably passed out. The friends know if they were drunk, they just don't want to get into trouble. They are probably covering for the adult who got them the alcohol. I do feel sad for the family. Such a dumb way to die. |
| Heard this morning from my daughter that a student passed. There were lots of media trucks and vans in the neighborhood mostly on Whittier blvd this morning |
Please don't speculate and spread rumors. This is devastating. |
| A former classmate's son from the Boston area died this way almost a year ago. So so sad. He had just gotten home from college and was at friend's house. He decided to stay a little longer and walk home (not far, but not close). Kids need to be educated on this danger. |
| Party with drinking was broken up by parents or cops. Kids fled. This teen never made it home. SO tragic. Many teens drink...almost none end up fleeing a party and freezing in the woods. This is tragic for this family. Just an accident. |
It happens a lot more than you think in colder parts of the country. I remember reading a story a year or so ago about a 16-year-old girl in Wisconsin who passed out in the snow coming back from a party; she was found alive the next morning, but her legs had to be amputated. So, unfortunately, these stories aren't that rare. |
