I think the path post-Trump is murky for Dems...a generation that can't win now because it will split into factions and not figure out how to get back to the White house. Third parties may proliferate for House races and create a more varied legislative branch but I don't see that helping get Trump and Pence out for 3 or 4 cycles......

Not talking about their performance as President but rather the level of surprise their success generated among the other party.
