[/quote] Not talking about their performance as President but rather the level of surprise their success generated among the other party. Each one of these victories was a shock to the Dems, as in, how could this happen?? And yet with each successive victory, the candidates became incrementally if not substantially less qualified. So, the lesson is, never underestimate the whims of the electorate. [/quote]
