| The house from Full House sticks with me. I remember being jealous that they had two staircases, but now I guess it's because it helped them block scenes better. |
Mine too (Father of the Bride house, that is)
|
| The Nanny. Looks much smaller from outside and straight on a busy street. Seems further from the street when they are filming at the door. |
| The Fresh Prince. I would've loved a pool house. |
It's like that saying "the cobbler's wife has no shoes"; the contractor's wife has no finished basement and a house full of half finished fucking problems going back for YEARS. - Totally not bitter contractor's wife. |

I know this is off-topic, but I don't watch much tv. My favorite movie house is the Hamptons home from Something's Gotta Give. Everyone talks about the kitchen, but I loved the whole thing. I think that Nancy Meyers' movies generally feature amazing houses (Father of the Bride, Parent Trap, etc.)
Also the house in Stepmom is great. |
| Loralai's house in Gilmore Girls. |
I also loved the Family Ties house!! |
I was always envious of tv homes with 2 staircases! |
| Another not a tv show- have always wanted the Home Alone house. |
| Bree's house in Desperate Housewives |
And bonus, no black people in the neighborhood. I generally love her movies but the lack of diversity is appalling.
That said, I still can't conceptualize the addition that Meryl Streep's character was planning in "It's Complicated." I kind of love the traditional houses like the Cunningham's in Happy Days. |
I was going to say Somethings Gotta Give. The interior house. |
That one followed closely by the Home Alone house. I love the Everyone Loves Raymond houses. The inlaws' house especially looks like a house many grandparents lived in when I grew up |
No Becky and Darlene had a room and even had its own bathroom THANK YOU. The basement was finished enough for David to live in it at one point. |
