I know you are being funny but -- not much chance an angry white male did it. Sadly for all of us, there is a good chance a recent immigrant or a child of immigrants did it.

Sadly, in the US, most of the shootings are committed by white or black men. Some foreign countries have travel warnings about their citizens going to the US due to all the gun violence. Oh, I know, as a Trump supporter you are probably thinking, "good, who wants foreigners here". Would that include Trump's wives?

Psst. Do you know where Munich is?

Duh... yea, my point is that pp indicated that an immigrant (or child of) most likely is the culprit, intimating that we should be wary of immigrants. My point is that here in the US, most shooters and murders are white or black men, and if anything, we should be more wary of them than immigrants in terms of shooters.

Wary of white and black people?

Exactly.. see how stupid it sounds for people to be wary of an entire group of people because a few have committed crimes?

You miss the point on every thread. No one is afraid of an entire group of people. But when members of a group of people commit crimes again and again and again claiming they are committing those crimes as a direct result of being a member of that group, well then it's worth noting, don't you agree? Frankly, the vast majority of Muslims who are normal have a major PR failure on their hands.

I think you are not hearing Trump and his supporters very well. Trump's speech last night was all about fear. Most of his supporters are afraid of Muslims terrorizing our country, and they put this as the #1 reason why they will vote for Trump. So yes, many Trump's supporters do fear an entire group of people, and Trump is fueling that fire.

Most people here own a TV. Why post every shooting on here?

They have 1 gun death for every 100,000 while we have 10.1

Also, regarding homicides? They have .07 by gun violence and we have 3.5

Every shooting?

Sister - do you even KNOW how many shootings happened yesterday in the US alone? You are so numb to gun violence it makes me sad for you.

Radical Islamic Terrorists. That is what Americans fear. Not Muslims.
The challenge is...... when we have people who seek asylum here or attempt to immigrate here - if asked if they are a terrorist, they are not going to answer in the affirmative.
Until we have a very good, fool-proof method of vetting these people, I am all for slowing down the immigration process. Even this administration’s foreign policy experts have said that we cannot adequately vet those coming from Syria.
This is not rocket science.

Well that's not me. I don't fear Muslims and I'm not a Trump supporter.

Np. So then what's the common denominator?

Not skin color, not religion, nor citizenship status.

I think we can all be pretty damned positive the perpetrator wasn't a female.

It will turn out to be a f***ed up person with a gun. There are a lot of disturbed people in this world. The ones without guns rarely hurt anyone outside their immediate circle.

The reason the police were there so fast is that yesterday a guy in the same area tried to kill a bunch of people on a train with an axe.

Um, Wuerzburg is like three hours from Munich. That's like cops in DC increasing security b/c of an attack in Philadelphia.

No, it's more like Albany cops increasing security because of an attack in New York City. #bavaria

Trump supporters don't know the difference. He's not explaining the difference, because he doesn't know either, and he doesn't care.

I wonder if that statistic is changing now that they have a determined enemy.

Do the Swiss have guns? They train all the time, right? I wonder what their model is.
