That's like saying that Paula seems masculine for a girl. Or Georgia. Or Antoinette.

NP here, but I disagree. Those names don't sound a thing like Pascale. The name lean masculine to my ear too, whereas, Anotoinette for instance sounds very feminine.

I vote for Pascalette.

Please let this be the new Larla!

Not confused. I know the math reference, but I'm also Jewish and Passover is coming up.

Reminds me of Blaise Pascal and his Pensees. Pretentious

No it's not. Pascale is a very common, traditional french girls name. The boy's name is Pascal.

I know many, many boy Pascals and zero girl Pascales. So in America, not France, it would be thought of as a boys name.

Which was named after Blaise Pascal, the French mathematician.

But OP is not asking about naming OP's son Pascal. OP is asking about naming OP's daughter Pascale.

I didn't know that! They still sound the same (to me, anyway). BUT, it's a nice name.

That was going to be my name if I was a boy (Dutch).

I've never heard of this as a name before but don't hate it. How do you pronounce?

I know two beautiful, happy Pascales, here in the US.
