Gotta love white folk. They never think anything will ever come along to upset their privileged neighborhood apple cart. |
m Because most people who live in Georgetown are law abiding citizens who just want to work and enjoy family life. They don't rob people or mug them. |
Based on his repeated difficulties and actions, George Zimmerman appears to be a hot-headed, impulsive, anger-prone guy at the very least. He's also killed someone. Hardly the type we need patrolling the streets. He needs to be locked up himself. |
Has nothing to do with being white. People of all races who are honest and working hard to provide for their families are upset when crimes occur. As they should be. |
Yes, that's right. If you leave your purse in plain site in your car and then leave your car unattended, then it is fact your fault for making your car am easy target. |
Really tasteless comment. There's a big difference between a gang of people jumping onto the roof of someone's car and a window smashed to grab a purse on the seat. |
This is a dumb thread.
A smash and grab would have happened in pretty much any urban neighborhood when a purse or wallet is left in plain sight in an automobile. This ain't the leafy back streets of CCMD. |
A while back, beginning of the summer school vacation, a woman my husband works with and her neighbors were hit and nearly every car parked in a driveway got robbed. The little critters left the doors on the cars open a crack as to not make any noise after breaking in.
17 yutes of darkness were caught. They're brave and bold now. They could care less that their mugs were shown on video splashed on the nightly news. They didn't bother covering up. Some even smiled into the camera. ![]() They're lucky as hell no one caught them in the act. All have been arrested. LOL, no honor among thieves. Their burglar brothers turned on one another. Seriously, if you have a garage, clean it out and use it. |
Way to blame the victim, PP. |
Well, yeah, pretty much. Don't ever, ever, ever leave anything even remotely "valuable" in your car in DC. It's an invitation to break in. We live in Logan & see cars broken into almost daily during daylight (and night time) hours. |
Only a naive dolt from the suburbs would say that. OP knows better. |
until he starts gunning down white kids. |
Sorry this happened to you. Unfortunately this is a hard lesson in making sure you keep valuables out of sight when you leave your car. If you haven't already, you may want to invest in tints. |
We leave valuables in our car all the time and rarely lock it and have never been robbed. Rarely lock our front door. Never been robbed. Live in the burbs though.
I think it's shocking that someone would break your window and steal your stuff in plain daylight with so many people around! And that no one noticed!? |
You shouldn't do that. Theft from autos in very common in the suburbs. |
