Op - you make it sound like it is out-of-your-control that you have 4. This is disturbing. It's not that they won't love your children. The only situations where family and friends reacted badly to news of #4 (2 separate families) is when the children were horribly behaved and out of control in every way and the parents really needed to concentrate on the children they have and not bring another one into the fray.

I'm assuming low class, uneducated, and formula feeding but I'd never say anything of course. The only exception I know from college was old big money and they shipped the kids to Deerfield for boarding as soon as possible.
