Probably best not to feed this troll any longer. She's clearly delusional.

Did anyone else here the "na na na na, hey hey hey, good-bye" from the crowd on the Mall as Bush's helicopter flew off? HILARIOUS.

Classy!

You will cheer for Clinton when he leaves office - after making a mockery of the position.

I hope you lose someone in the next terrorist attacks and then maybe you will have some new found respect.

Hey, compared to where we've been and the muck we're in now as a consequence of the divisive lame-ass policies and politics of Cheney & his monkey, intelligence and unifying skills are a good start!!

Let us see how Obama handles a terrorist strike that kills thousands of Americans on US soil. Oh yea, that probably will not happen since the previous administration has provided you the security for which you now so easily take for granted.

You cannot be for real?!?!! If you are - you are one Bushy wack job! Pun intented.

Oh, I don't know, I think maybe we should give "intelligence and unifying skills" a try. I think the previous administration could have used them!

Especially considering that Bush made the United States less safe by pursuing an expensive, bloody war based on a falsehood. Talk about recruiting terrorists to the cause!

You feel less safe today - What a joke.

If you feel that way then lets get rid of Homeland Security and see how safe you feel.

I'm sure he has his copy of "My Pet Goat" handy.

You are toooo funny!

If you think Obama will be a success as president — as I hope but do not expect — tell me why.

Make a logical argument, supported by evidence. For instance, an argument that Obama is not George W. Bush is not an argument that Obama will succeed, though that argument may good enough for sites where logic is less valued.

To address multiple posts, I was happy to see Clinton go and I was happy to see Bush go. And yes, I think the dismal foreign policy under Clinton and W were responsible for making us less safe. I never thought I'd say this but the last president I think who showed some real spine was George HW Bush. It's only amazing he spawned such an idiot.

If I lose someone in a terrorist attack, I will blame Clinton, W, and depending on what Obama does, I'll blame him too. But I'm willing to hold the guy I voted for responsible for his actions. Were you willing to do the same for W?

As for the Department of Homeland Security, I was completely unimpressed by their response to Hurricane Katrina. I hope they're doing a better job of protecting us from terrorists than they are from hurricanes!

I dont think anyone is really saying that: Obama has a lot to prove and entered presidency with a big mess to clean up (coming from a huge Obama supporter). I think that everyone is probably excited for the "hope" that he delivers what is promised. Look - we dont know what will happen - but you cannot say that Bush did any good in office and I it is soooo refreshing to have a president that is smart enough to write his own speech and sound genuine about his delivery.....this is a start.

They saw the hurricane coming and couldn't be prepared for it. We're not going to see bad guys coming. It's not like they start pounding on their drums and playing a trumpet the way did did in the 1800s to let us know that they're coming.

It's really too bad that all of you are bickering when in fact we should be celebrating the facts that first, we've had a peaceful transition of power, and second, that we have not been attacked since 9/11.

It is so easy for all of you sit back now and criticize the past.

Hope you will do the same to Obama when he is in the helicopter in 4 years flying back to Chicago/Hawaii/Kansas/Kenya.

Yes, I am proud to be American. I can hold my head high when I am abroad.

That's the point! If they can't be prepared for something they see coming, how should I trust them to be prepared for something that the National Weather Service can't warn them about?

But at least we got rid of the guy who was recruiting terrorists to the cause through his failure of a foreign policy. And maybe Obama will at least be self aware enough to not say "Heck of a job, Brownie" to someone who failed miserably at his actual job. I don't expect much of Obama but at least he won't be an international embarrassment.

I am always proud to be an American - no matter who is in office.

We should all be proud every day not just on the inauguration day.

Yeah, just like Bush took the helicopter back to Texas/Connecticut. (Really, pp, you are so silly!)
