Not OP, but this irks me. I'm the blonde but not overweight wife of a black man, and I think people literally expect me to have five chins and be living in a trailer park. Such a gross and unfair stereotype. |
| DH? |
Well, in fairness you've proven 50% of the stereotype. And the other part is open to negotiation on when it will start... |
| This is OP. I apologize for the late response - I have been in unscheduled back-to-back meetings all day. I should have waited to post this when I could provide more immediate responses. Please know that I will respond to all of your questions. I didn't anticipate this kind of response - so, I am quite curious. Thanks and I'll be back soon!! |

Lost interest since you can't reply to messages right away...
How about the white lady post an ask me anything, I'm married to a black man? |
AND exactly how much do you weigh and what is your height. We will judge the fat. |
I'm 5'4" and 108 pounds. Judge freely. |
| Everyone on this board is 5'4 108 pounds |
NP here, but all the mixed race couples I know have faced enormous very overt prejudice from blacks (men and women) including having abuse hurled at them in public and not even a hint of disapproval from whites in their day to day life. I think PPs question is valid. For some reason some people think it's perfectly acceptable to voice prejudice if you are black but clearly racist if you are white. The radio program PP quotes is a perfect example of it. There is no way that a show describing that situation in opposite terms would be on air. |
This post made my point better than I could! |
| (that is that the criticism doesn't come from whites, not that I agree with this idiot). |
Is the wife over weight bottle blond and has the job? |
You don't have to believe me. I have a history of eating disorders and probably could stand to gain some weight in all honesty. |
Not me. I'm 5'9" and 108 pounds.

That sounds scary. I don't think I would be proud of that fact. |
