Considering what you do, why not live in NY, LA or Nashville? |
That's a lot of identifying info. I think I know who you are. |
I call BS. No one who went to Yale for law school would refer to it as both "top 10" and "Yale" You're either identifying it as Yale or at least calling it a top 5 (minimum) if you're not using the name. |
B/c I make good money here and most of my wealthiest clients are in the area. |

| Dentists can make crazy money, especially specialists. I have a friend who is a pediatric dentist and was offered jobs in the $400-$500k range right out of residency. He opted to open his own practice. He makes me regret my stupid MBA. |
| why oh why do I read these posts? It makes me feel so damn poor. |

Me:
BA from a top 50 university (sometimes top 25, depending on the year), Master's degree from a local state university. Work PT currently and make @$37,500. Never broke $50K working FT (quit 3 years ago to work PT). Hubby: barely graduated HS, 5 years in the military, got his BS after 10 years of going to school part-time while working full-time. Currently makes $90K. Moral of the story - I should have majored in science or math. This doing good BS got me nowhere in life. |
08:48 here - ditto. Clearly, at $125K combined, we are waaay behind. No wonder I feel so poor all the time! |
