Next week, a parade for the cops.

People should celebrate this dangerous criminal was taken permanently off the streets. This is the only way with all the liberal policies. They don't even execute repeat murderers any more they just let them free after a stern talking to .

Yes, but honestly: did she die? (no).

So how many people have to be raped, robbed, and murdered before some criminal homeless turd can be flushed away?

I cannot believe you would talk about the police officers who shot this man as "flushing" him away. I guarantee they are devastated by the outcome. Have some freakin respect.

+1. If she didn't die, there's no crime.

I love that the reaction is to have a vigil for this guy. Not point out that bad things can happen when you pull a knife on a woman--no, a vigil.

Have we have hit "peak Arlington" yet, or are we just getting started?

I knew a white person was behind this vigil. This white savior business is out of control.

We should bury him in Arlington National Cemetery.

Why did they not try to use taser instead of shooting? That would have incapacitated him but he would have lived.

Tasers don’t always work. A knife is a deadly weapon.

Murderers like those Arlington cops?

They were reckless, not cautious.

Yes he's the victim. This is how this area operates now and apparently everyone accepts it.

This is why there are what happened to Arlington threads. Progressives need to be spending their capital (financial and human) on building institutions to humanly house the mentally ill for the safety of all.

Ok, as soon as conservatives personally pay for all our wars.

Conservatives are so pro-life they want to take as many as they can.

The thing is we can absolutely do better at treating mental health and teaching deescalation during crises in this country. This doesn't have to be the only way. This isn't just for the person shot here, there's a real mental health cost to a killing someone, witnessing a death, having to process death scenes, etc.

It doesn't mean every situation can be avoided but that doesn't mean we don't ask questions and figure out if we can't do more to keep these situations from ever happening in the first place.
