OP, my DC attends Virginia Tech as a liberal arts major and absolutely loves it. This is a school that has something for everyone. What does your DC want to major in?

I’m an alumna of a woman’s college. I hadn’t heard of Hollins and Sweet Briar before moving to this area. Both have a longstanding history of educating the daughters of wealthy Southerners. The latter almost closed, but then was revived by alumni. It also has a well regarded equestrian program.

My new boss is a graduate of Hampton. She’s very impresive. My doctor is a graduate of VCU. Also very successful.
