Josephine, Georgia, Michaela (wow, didn't realize until I wrote them that they're all feminine forms of male names!)

Also, Caroline, Catherine

We used the only boy name that I really love on DS, so hopefully we won't need another!

Wish people would go back to old school names: John, William, Richard, Theodore, Brandon, Stephen, Anthony, George, Michael, Robert

OR for girls what ever happened to Jennifer, Diane, and Heather?

Never see those anymore!

I like names with a story behind them that mean something to the family. One friend named her daughter Stella because they lived on conSTELLAtion ave when the mom was pg. Or some place/person you went as a family or is important to you.
we plan to give our boys (cross ur fingers we have a boy) all have presidental/historical middle names as we are both huge history buffs: Franklin, Lincolin, Washington, Henry, etc.
We are also looking at cultural names from places I've traced our family history to: France, England, Ireland, Roman Empire era.
I am big into family history and have found lots of family names names from the 1100's-1400's that I really like too.

Girls: Adelaide, Amelie, Charlotte, Aubreye, Neave, Saoirse (seer sha meaning liberty)
Boys: Alistair, Charles, Oliver, Finn

Veronica. That would have been DS's name if he was a girl.

Finn: That is a nationality. How about Scott?

A little bit of self-awareness can go a long way.

Where in the Midwest? Native Minnesotan here and the only Soren I have ever met would be about 110 years old now.

Minnesota! I'm from northern Minnesota, but most of the Sorens I know are from the southern part of the state, northern Iowa, and southern Wisconsin. When I read the alumni magazine from my college (northern Iowa), there is at least a half dozen Soren's listed every quarter.
