Who knows.

Is that something Netflix does? I can’t think of any comparative shows/products where Netflix’s actual agreed upon role is to help a private company grow. How would the parties even write that into a contract?

I think the Sussexes are a truly unique situation. I'm not saying Meagan's show or store are unique, but their flavor of celebrity (actress turned royal turned lifestyle creator) certainly IS unique. Their Oprah interview had a huge viewership. Why wouldn't Netflix want to end the relationship between on a positive note in case Harry and Meagan ever want to participate in that kind of content again?

It's pretty much over for them. They are aging and haven't been able to do anything of substance in years. Public interest isn't there either.

Disagree. The second they are willing to get personal again, they will have an audience. This may well never happen, but Netflix will be there to pick up the pieces if it does.

Yes, once they are desperate/broke enough to do a reality show, Netflix will be interested.

They're not going to go broke. They may have to face the choice of scaling back their lifestyle or pushing the boundaries of their professional lives more then they would prefer, but they won't go broke. Their worst case scenario is still better than most of us posting here.

I do think Netflix would work with them/exploit them on another tell-all, even without fresh stories. Certainly they haven't discussed everything.

Harry said once that 400 pages of his book were left on the cutting-room floor because they were too incendiary. If I were William, I might cool it with the "I'm going to strip titles from my little bi-racial niece and nephew" threats, because he could make publication happen again if Harry has nothing left to lose.

What do American kids need titles for? Ridiculous. Nobody respects or cares about titles here, where they live.

Will and Kate are abject leeches and 1000 times more useless than Megan and Harry. Apples and oranges. Better to compare M&H to other Hollywood D listers.

Well, yes and yes. Not a huge fan of either couple. But at least M&H work and travel for their philanthropies. It says a lot that Charles while undergoing cancer treatment did more than twice the number of engagements Willy did last year. And Kate, who told us 1 1/2 years ago that her treatment was over, did fewer engagements in 2024 than the 90-year-old Duke of Kent whose wife died in September. https://writeroyalty.substack.com/p/the-year-in-royal-work-ranking-the

Netflix hasn't ended its entire relationship with the Sussexes. They've given up their passive share in Meghan's online store. (Meghan bought them out? Another investor bought Netflix out? Who knows.) It also seems pretty unlikely Netflix would back a third season of Meghan's With Love show.

Netflix still has a "First Look" contract with the Sussexes. "First Look" seems to be Netflix's new business model, and they have similar "First Look" contracts with Shonda Rhimes and the Obamas, so there's nothing necessarily bad about it. It just means the Sussexes have to come up with something new that's interesting enough for Netflix to bite, whether that's another tell-all or producing a documentary or movie.

I agree. Who knows what Harry or Meghan think about William raging about their titles. But it's possible they want to keep their kids' options open. Or maybe they don't care. We don't know. Stripping the titles of biracial kids wouldn't play well in the Commonwealth, though, and that's something to keep in mind. And we do care about titles here, otherwise why are you on this site?

The point is just that, if William keeps being such a vindictive rage machine, Harry might find his way to another tell-all contract with Netflix.

Whoops, that was the number of days on which they worked. Here's the number of engagements per person. William worked less than the 80-year-old Duke of Gloucester. Charles beat Anne, who was kicked in the head by a horse mid-year, but she still outworked William.

Meghan certainly does. She directs her staff to announce her with titles as she enters a room, even if there is only one other person in the residence.

That was one incident, not many as you're implying, and it wasn't "her" staff as you claim. She was visiting a friend in NYC and the friend's staff apparently took it on themselves to announce her. This is very easy to verify with Google.

I will put that up with there with Luann the Countess ridiculousness. Americans don't care. It will play well to a Real Housewives fan base but it's not something that will win the respect of people that matter.

Again, it's a lie that Meghan made "her" staff--or any staff--announce her. Stop already.

Royals by number of engagements in 2025 (as of December 18):

1. King Charles - 532
2. Princess Anne - 478
3. Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh - 313
4. Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh - 235
5. Queen Camilla - 228
6. Duke of Gloucester - 212
7. Prince William - 202
8. Duchess of Gloucester - 113
9. Duke of Kent - 77
10. Princess of Wales - 68

Pretty shocking. Charles was still undergoing chemo in 2025. Kate told us in September 2024 that she had finished treatment. Not sure what happened to William. The Duke of Gloucester is 81 and the Duke of Kent is 91.

I don't know why you would say William is a "vindictive rage machine." It sounds like the brothers don't get along, and it's mutual.

I doubt anyone is worried about the Sussexes and their titles right now. The Epstein scandal is certainly the only issue that's going to matter for the next few years. They won't divert energy to things like stripping titles or any other family pettiness.

I doubt anyone is worried about the Sussexes and their titles right now. The Epstein scandal is certainly the only issue that's going to matter for the next few years. They won't divert energy to things like stripping titles or any other family pettiness.

The British press is constantly reporting that William is “incandescent” or “raging” about the Sussexes and will strip their titles as soon as he becomes king, so this isn’t something made up on a mom’s website.

A number of press commentators have actually said this feels like a deliberate part of the distraction. Be mad over here at the Sussexes, not at the BRF for anything to do with/ Andrew, what they know, whether they’re cooperating with the investigation or not
