Why would Netflix stay as a partner on the brand if the show is over?

There's mixed messaging on what happened. One claim is that Netflix recouped its initial investment and no reason to continue the partnership at this point since her show didn't do well. The other is this was always the plan, for Netflix to help grow the business then Megan take over from there.
Who knows.

Yeah, whether Netflix recouped its initial investment--or I read that Meghan bought Netflix's silent share out--the fact that this happened within the first year is impressive, no matter how you feel about the show or the jam.

I could live without the show. But a few months ago, a hater who was trying to figure out Meghan's stock accidentally exposed that she's moved something like $23m in product in the first year. You (and I) may not be the market for her show or jams. But c'mon people, it's undeniable that her store is going gangbusters. I dunno, but I sort of like to think that the store frees Meghan and Harry up, income-wise, to do the philanthropic work on which they really seem to want to focus.

Please give us a reputable article. Not clicking on a trash tabloid that makes bank trashing Meghan and pandering to everyone's worst impulses. Not to mention the bots in the comments....

Is that something Netflix does? I can’t think of any comparative shows/products where Netflix’s actual agreed upon role is to help a private company grow. How would the parties even write that into a contract?

Charity Watch says her philanthropic foundation only gives away about $1.2m per year. What gives?

That's the signature she leaves in the toilet after she takes a dump.

That is meaningless without knowing her overhead.

If $23M is sales, the cost of the product might be 30 to 50% of that.
