My father was recently diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Thankfully, after a tough few months, he appears to be stabilized for now. This is particularly important to me because I am waiting for a green card and cannot leave the US, and he's in my home country. The last thing I wanted was to throw away my green card endeavors to fly to his deathbed.
Now hopefully I can get that damm green card before anything worse happens to him. |

| I have been slowly working on my health for the last several years and for the first time in my adult life, every single one of my labs (A1C, cholesterol, liver markers, WBC, the works) came back normal. Normal! I am in shock. I’ve also lost almost 85 pounds during this time. It’s been a real struggle to get here and I can’t wait to meet with my doctor next week. |
Amazing!! Congratulations |
| My toddler suffers from febrile seizure. He had fever when the snowstorm hit but with some luck, or God’s help, he didn’t suffer from seizure at that time. That is the best news to me since this year started. |
| I went to the gym finally and worked out with all the other overweight people. We are doing something about it. |
| Hopeful I can be more peaceful and kind after the March for Peace. |
| I held a kitten, who purred the whole time. I’m not even a cat person but it was just the thing I didn’t know I needed. It was just the thing. |
I’m so happy for you — that must feel wonderful. |
| I am proud of my who my teens are becoming. |
The feeling of having worked out is a good one. Here’s to endorphins! |
| Car trouble in a faraway and unfamiliar place. A really good samaritan. I felt so taken care of. |
You are DISGUSTING. |
| I got some new floors installed today, looks great |
Good! I need to exercise more (and eat less). |
